I press reset button then the i press reset button then the device doesn't work!! how i can solve the problem
Whenever i turn on the control deck, the blue light doesn't flash. Even when I press and hold the green button, it still doesn't flash.
Make sure the internal battery is charged using the included cable first, it may not have enough charge to enter pairing mode. If it still doesn't work, contact AtGames support.
Hmm thanks for this. I was over complicating this. Sounds like i need to use my xbox 360 controller, have it plugged into the port first before having it boot. I was just trying to use a USB keyboard to move around the menus on the PI to find the bluetooth menu, nope, key bindings don't work... Some keys do work, just not the arrow keys. Thanks man, I'll give it a go with my 360 wired controller to start with and then attempt to pair some other wireless ones. Does the USB keyboard have move arrow and enter functionality whatsoever to add controllers?
Hey, you're very welcome! You certainly can use the keyboard. Here's some that I can remember from within Emulation Station: F1 = Built-in File Manager ENTER = Menu Select = A Back = B / ESC Arrows = Up/Down/Left/Right Hotkey = C (may be wrong on this) I'm sure there are others that I'm overlooking.
Thank you. Will this run on shield pro?
I don't own a Shield Pro and can't answer your question based on personal experience. Although, it seems like it may work, please see here: gameroomsolutions.com/the-best-hardware-for-running-batocera-retro-gaming-os/#:~:text=The%20NVIDIA%20Shield%20TV%20Pro,comes%20with%20a%20gaming%20controller.
@@WagnersTechTalk Thank you
it says when im trying to flash the batocera file to my usb stick it says that something went wrong and it can't flash it in to my usb stick and the usb is 64gb
It could be a bad or faulty USB stick. Another thing to try is writing the image with Raspberry Pi Imager, details here: wagnerstechtalk.com/common/#Write_Image_with_Raspberry_Pi_Imager . Some have had issues with Etcher for some unknown reason that were resolved by using Pi Imager.
For me no game parsers showed up i followed your whole guide what a shame
Try uninstall/reinstall and seek if the parsers show up then.
Just amazing..hope these will still be available next year? as i plan on getting my own arcade room up and running

It stil didn't finished to install, but i think im going to have good times with PUBG and WARZONE

Can a person add their own pinball rom tables to the 4k atgames pinball machine?
Pinball tables on the 4KP are downloaded from AppStoreX. If you want to connect a PC to the 4KP, this can be done and more info. can be found here: wagnerstechtalk.com/alp4k-pcsetup
@@WagnersTechTalk Thank you for the info. I have some concerns doing things that way. The cost of getting a new computer which I would need to do, and also the price of the computer to get one that will actually be good enough to run things properly graphics wise. I would expect to spend around 3500-4000 total, cost of the pinball machine and cost of the computer. So if spending that much I think I would be better off buying a pinball machine from someone else for 5k where you get everything, table and computer and all the bells and whistles. Unless of course At Games are planning on adding tables like Fish Tales, Pinbot, and some other top pinbal tables to their machine. Sigh. Thank you for responding.
Today I went to pick up my powkiddy on the 13th and saw that my micro SD no longer works, would anyone have the image or the original factory Chinese system to install:?
Do not use Windows 10 to flash. It will not work.
I've used Win10 to flash as well as 11, interesting that you had an issue with Win10.
@@WagnersTechTalk I apologize. It was the 4 model b that i couldn't get to boot after 10 flash, so i used penguin. Were u able to get 4 b to flash and boot with 10, out of curiosity? Mine burnt up by putting it on a running dvd burner.

I'm totally with you on that!!
I just got one of these, my only real gripes are the side stickers were starting to come off, right out of the package I had to push it back down and get bubbles out, and the screen has a low view angle. DO YOU KNOW WHAT SCREEN THEY USED.. it seems it is one of the many lcd panels you can get for cctv applications on Amazon and other, but they removed the branding.
I don't, I wound up having a giveaway and gave it to a lucky viewer. Details of that giveaway are here, for reference: wagnerstechtalk.com/winners/#Giveaway_2_-_Vilros_Tabletop_Arcade
Any recommandations for pinball games with a pi5 running batocera?
I think there are some for PS1 that were pretty well-done. Also know that the Batocera team is working on providing tables for VPX (on x86). I don't know if there are any plans for VPX on the Pi5 (I'm going to assume no, at this point, due to architecture differences)
Grache
For coinX gaming, is it possible to make a new top control panel with stick, new buttons ? similar to the way you can add one to the Legends HD system ?
I've not heard of anyone making one for the Micro, not that it's not possible. Just that I've not seen it done yet.
I just bought a atgames legends gamer mini. Getting it tomorrow does the new software still let you not use coinopsx?
COX was removed from AppStoreX on firmware version 5.71. 5.70 should be fine.
@@WagnersTechTalk I have version 10954_A3 software version 10954_A3 Device Ha2812-060fa4 I cannot pair device so it has to be plugged in. No coinopsx do I need to connect to Wi-Fi or should I download something from archive and if I can pair use USB port with BYOB? Do I use sauce or just roms?
Thanks great video!
You're welcome, thank you for watching!
Hi, I’ve tried everything you explained on this video. I just purchased my Pinball HD weeks ago. The video shows outdated version of steam, it has changed since this vid so it makes thinks more confusing, also setting up for the buttons to function on that software download did not work either. I’m wondering if this whole process has changed since there has been many software updates with steam and at games firmware updates and so on. Please advise. Thank you.
It's an older video, but Pinball FX3 hasn't changed since this video. Just search Steam for "Pinball FX3", click install. That's pretty much it, the rest should guide you through just fine.
Thank you for your fast reply. I have a question, is a powered usb required? I have a usb port but it’s hooked up to the cpu, could that be the problem why it’s not working?
@@jorodriguez003 In some cases, it can be the OTG cable or a powered hub is needed. Please see this section for some some troubleshooting ideas: wagnerstechtalk.com/alppcsetup/#OTG_Troubleshooting
Thank you again for the fast reply. My pc is a laptop, I’m running a i7 4060 graphics card, 16 gig ram. I’m sharing this information because the setup is working, but I still can’t seem to get the controls to work on my pinball. I’ve added a power usb. I’ve followed everything on the video which is working, but controls don’t work. Is it because it’s not a desktop?
@@jorodriguez003 No, a laptop should be just fine. If you tried a powered hub, it may be the USB-A to USB-A cable. I spent about a week trying to help someone who had a similar issue. Turned out, he was using a Best Buy (Insignia) branded USB cable that didn't work. He purchased the UGREEN cable that I was using and was up an running. Not sure if that is your problem, but could be. Also, make sure it's plugged into the USB 2.0 (white) port.
Very nice display! YARS Revenge! - John
Thank you for watching John!
So how complex would it be to create a software that exports a VPX or FP table to this native C++ format for the General Loader? This way the OTG can be bypassed and maybe running it natively is easier and faster to set?
I love the concept here, but it would require someone who is more knowledgeable on porting VPX/FP to Linux. VPX/FP run under Windows x86, so it would need a layer to translate those calls for arm64. Perhaps, someone with that experience will see your comment and answer in more detail.
Una pregunta, steam me puede banear por usar emudeck en pc? Es que estoy jugando juegos de xbox 360 en steam con emudeck pero no se si en algun momento me puedan banear.
I've never heard of such a thing happening.
@@WagnersTechTalk Muchas gracias por tu respuesta bro!
Question. I have a Pi 4 Running a Wolfanoz 12k 128G Batocera image. It works great on the Pi 4. Can I install Batocera on my PC, and then copy the Bios and Rom files from that image, and have it work on my PC? Or do I need to do something else?
You definitely can.
@@WagnersTechTalk Fantastic. And is it the same with something like Recalbox? can I copy Bios and Rom files from a recalbox image, into Batocera, and have it work? I guess what I am asking is this: are Bios files and roms different from platform to platform (like Recalbox, Batocera, etc...) or can you use the same files no matter what the platform? Thanks for the help.
@@ChrisBucklin Should be just fine using the same bios and roms.
Could you also play EMU deck offline?
For setup, being online is needed. Once setup, it's launched by Steam.
Around time marker 12:20, can you please show and explain how to open up the folder Retrostation_PC_4_U? I could not find it on my end.
The folders that EmuDeck creates aren't going to be aware of the external RS drive. You can copy the files from RS to the folder(s) used by EmuDeck.
@@WagnersTechTalkI'm having the same issue. I know that you're supposed to copy the files from the RS drive to the folders for EmuDeck, but we don't know where to find the RS drive to get the folders to copy from.
Any data you save on a storage device for EMU deck, can you just use it to install on another windows device with the existing data.
I'm not sure I understand the question.
@@WagnersTechTalk Can you back your data and restored it on another device where you can continue playing wherever you last left off on your other device?
Can you play commercial games on EMU deck such as GTA, Minecraft, Call Of Duty, and Red Redemption?
What you install is entirely up to you, but some of those may be playable.
Wagner, does the HDMI out work with a Pi4?
You'll need an extra cable (see description), haven't personally tried it but here's Glen's video on it: ua-cam.com/video/oLW_Ndpo1NY/v-deo.html
@@WagnersTechTalk thanks Wagner I’d much rather run a pi4
I've got Retropie on a Pi 4B, works pretty good though there are some issues with some games. I'm hoping the new 5 I just got will do better and I'm going to try Recalbox on it. Thanks for the video.
Very welcome, if you have an extra microSD, may also want to try out Batocera after Recalbox. You can find a video about it here: ua-cam.com/video/WTiEyFboUJQ/v-deo.html .
@@WagnersTechTalk Extra TF cards are never an issue, lol. For the 5, I cloned the original boot TF to an NVMe so I can keep my usual OS and apps on the NVME yet boot to card if one's installed, the NVMe if no tf is present. I'm keeping that tf card just in case something happens to the NVME but I've got several 64g cards laying around so I'll watch the Batocera video. I still haven't finished setting up the Recalbox, haven't even played a game on it yet... I procrastinate a lot, it's the one thing I'm good at.
@@Allazander Sounds like me and making new videos lately lol. I'm finally working on my next one
@@WagnersTechTalk Well, I put a few games on the pi 5 with Recalbox this morning, that 'share' folder does make that much easier for Windows users vs Retropie. Every game I tried worked just fine, whether ones I added or preinstalled. I watched your video on Batocera as well and may try it later. Thanks again.
@@Allazander Very welcome, happy to hear things went smoothly!
How much does this cost?

Good video, thanks.
Thank you!
Thanks for this video. I was going to buy one to play pinball on my atgames Micro machine, but based on what you say in this video about the video quality, I will refrain. Can you recommend a mini or laptop system that will work for the Legend Micro pinball system? This will be the only use for the machine I buy. THANK YOU. I enjoy all your video, especially the ones on game strategy (Space invaders, Grinch, etc)
Very welcome and thank you for watching! Unfortunately, I've not found a miniPC yet that does a good job for virtual pinball, even at 1080p. I've only tried a few so far, nothing that I could recommend for that at this point.
@@WagnersTechTalk THANK YOU!! Would you say the same about a Steamdeck?
@@jsemeria6700 You can check out the gameplay on the SD here: wagnerstechtalk.com/sd-alp *NOTE: I have not tested Pinball FX/M in this configuration on the SD. But this guide should be helpful to you.
can you translate japanese text to english text by looking at it? I was hoping to wear these or a similar device to play japanese video games, & have it translate the text as I play just by looking at it 🤔
Not by looking at it, this app. only listened for audio and would translate that to English. With no Play store on-board, there is no way to download another application that does support the camera for reading text. For the use-case you mention, I don't think these glasses will work out.
@@WagnersTechTalk okay thanks for the heads up! 👍
Can tell there’s flipper lag? Atgames has become a disaster with “4k” pinball. So glad they bailed on their trade in deal or I would feel ripped off if I owned a 4k pinball with no ability to play the 125 tables I already bought and paid for. Time to get real and bash this product instead of taking free stuff. Seems these shorts are an attempt to ignore what is plain to see FLIPPER LAG makes digital pinball awful!
Where exactly do I find the bios and roms???
Thanks for posting these! This pack looks like fun.
Very welcome, thank you for watching! A number of these short videos may be found here: wagnerstechtalk.com/alp4k/#Table_Game_Play . It's not the complete library yet.
Is this digital game?
Yes, digital pinball
Nice but background poorly designed arranged imo
@@kabiebebe2332 Thank you for your feedback!
Just stumbled across your video and currently trying to setup a Raspberry pi 4 with retropie. Currently I've got a display connected via adapter to the hdmi 0 port and want my pi to run either dualscreen or preferably check for usage of hdmi 1 port and then prefer this port (so I can connect it to any screen to play with friends on a bigger screen) Any ideas how to achieve this? Would highly appreciate your help <3
Love this game. I hope yall can get the lag down a little more in future releases. :)
2 important CONS for batocera on the pi5 compared to retropie or even other pcs running batocera. 1. Batocera on the pi5 does NOT support ps2. 2. Batocera on the Pi5 does NOT support flatpaks or Wine, so you wont be able to install web browsers, windows games, steam, etc.
Sound and visuals look good. How's the flipper lag on this one?
If you have played Twilight Zone, it is about the same experience in terms of lag. I found the table enjoyable.
@@WagnersTechTalkThanks, Jon. In other words, not as good as Magic Pixel tables but not as bad as Addams Family and Peanuts.
Yep, exactly!
